Nelson Street high rise from outside 1994:: McAusland Studios

Nelson Street high rise, West end, Vancouver, circa 1994 I lived in this behemoth on two occasions, once on the south facing side, as when in about 1990 with two roommates and two cats (one of which always seemed to be in heat), temporarily until moving up the street into my own place in a low rise. A couple of years later I moved in again with an old roommate, but after he moved out ail had it all to myself for a few months. It was while working at Hansen's Art supply and living here that I experienced a huge amount of artistic growth, formulated my marketing plans, chose to go to Capilano College, and finally acted on what I knew what I wanted to do with my life.
