My Father's house in Kamloops, B.C  ( fall 1998) I took this image to give to the real-estate agent as we were busy trying to sell my childhood home. I can safely say that even now, (2007) looking at this picture reminds me of that time and it is all still so clear in my memory. Living alone in a 4000 square foot home for over half a year, seeing every memory from my childhood, expecting my father to return home at any minute from one of his many trips, and having to organize, clean up, and sort through the objects in that home, was more difficult than I can say. Still, I love this house, and feel strangely lucky to have had that time to grieve within its bounds. within weeks of finally selling it (in 1999), I was back in my own apartment on Arrowstone Drive, also in Kamloops, and back to being social and creative.
