Inspirational objects and art shelf

Above my primary drawing table I have a shelf of assorted inspirational, cool, precious, or just plain weird stuff. Some of it goes back over a hundred years, and fossils dating 60 million years ago, as well as stuff bought at the local hobby shop ( High Octane Comics and Collectibles). I've also got photos of my kids, dangerous tools I don't want the kids to get, jars of brushes, bits of natural history, bones, leaves, toys from my childhood which accelerated my imagination, statues of Buddha, scale models that I still haven't panted, artwork by the likes of Fraser Hallett and others, and lead fantasy figures from my teenage years.
