| From left to right: 1. Ink water
(brush cleaning water eventually becomes a grayscale
wash), 2. White-Out Mix ( 50% gesso / 50% white
acrylics, used to correct ink errors and then
re-draw over), 3. India Ink (Winsor & Newton),
4. Spray bottle (Mist to moisten drying ink in
tray, or apply interesting but often random effects
to drying ink on paper), 5. Plastic ink tray (the
above shown comes from a pack of batteries, can be
washed or thrown out. Sticky tack on bottom holds
tray on drawing table or my new inking shelf), 6.
painters low-tac-tape, 7. assorted brushes, 8.
Micron Pigma pens 08, 05, 04, 03, 02, 01, 005 and
finally, the three 005 pens taped together have
damaged or worn tips, but together they form a
stipple-group pen, sued to apply grain in a random
pattern quickly. |
